Adna Sablyich
Adna is a professionally trained and experienced actress, theatre deviser and a qualified lifelong learning lecturer of performing arts, with 20 years of experience in arts, media and education. She has a clear, recent DBS check and the liability insurance.
She is also a local mum of an 8 years old boy, who loves drama. Adna currently teaches at our local Richmond and Hillcroft Community College, the Actor's Centre, London and in the London West End. Adna's Acting credits include the productions with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Court Theatre, Cardboard Citizens, Platform 4, Kadam Dance and a number of smaller groundbreaking companies; performances at The Almeida, Piccadilly Theatre, Riverside Studios, Southwark Playhouse, Institute of Contemporary Arts, Battersea Arts Centre, Jackson's Lane Theatre, Contact Manchester, Phoenix Exeter and a number of other theatres, arts centres, pub theatres and hostels across England and Wales; appearances in television dramas (Prime Suspect, Doctors, The Bill); and voice work for the BBC Radio drama (World Service, Radio 3, Doctor Who Audio), Penguin (Sleeping Giants , Waking Gods and Only Human), the RNIB Talking Books (Tiger's Wife, The Angel of Grozny), her own production and publishing company Sharp Eared Owl (with a growing number of books) and other commercial and corporate voice-overs. In the educational West End (Pineapple Studios, Danceworks, London Palladium, UCL Bloomsbury, Apollo Victoria, Her Majesty's Theatre, Prince of Wales, Drury Lane and others), she has led over a hundred workshops, tailored to dozens of shows (The Sound of Music, Wicked, Billy Elliot, The Lord of The Rings, The Phantom of The Opera, The Seagull, Lion King, Les Miserables, Oliver, Warhorse, Birdsong, Wizard of Oz, The Three Stooges, Play That Goes Wrong, Curious Incident... and many others). She has directed her college students in the original devised shows, presented at The Victoria and Albert Museum, Royal Albert Hall function rooms and Sadler's Wells.
